Penetrate the Culture. Halloween 2017

Halloween is one of the most natural opportunities to be strategically involved in the community on mission.  It’s one of the few times of the year when almost all of us will have conversations with neighbors and people we do not know.  We want to go into our normal community gatherings this year with fresh eyes and gospel-centered motives.  How can you be intentional this Halloween to have gospel conversations with your neighbors?

Ideas

  1. Be an asset to the events already happening in your neighborhood. (Ex. Volunteer to serve. Provide candy and/or drinks. Open your home to visitors.)

  2. Host a block party in your neighborhood.  (It doesn’t have to be big or spectacular.  Maybe invite your Community Group over for dinner on your lawn and welcome your neighbors to join.)

  3. Include PRBC business cards with your trick-or-treater candy.

  4. Offer water or coffee to the parents of trick-or-treaters.
